Each season, we offer a curated selection of vegetable and herb transplants perfect for planting in your garden at the right time. 

Tomatoes
Beefsteak tomatoes

Brandywine yellow and black tomatoes, Kellogg’s breakfast and purple Cherokee tomatoes are wonderful for everything from tomato sandwiches to BLTs. 

cherry tomatoes

Large red cherry, fox cherry and green zebra are all great to throw into any fresh dish. Roma tomatoes are amazing either fresh, canned, or frozen for making sauces or salsas.

Peppermint, sage, cilantro, basil, lemon basil, curled and Italian flat leaf parsley, common thyme, oregano, chives and garlic chives are sure you make your neighbors envious of your massive selection!

Peppers

Red bell peppers and marconi red peppers are great for throwing on the grill, and jalapenos add an extra kick to any dish. Soshito peppers make a fast and easy appetizer sure to please any crowd.

salad greens

Slow bolt arugula, summer (bloomsdale) spinach, dino (lacinato) kale, curly kale and multiple lettuces have been selected specifically for our climate to keep you away from the grocery store. 

Cool season crops

Ready for transplanting March through April, collard greens, cabbage and sugar snap peas are the best spring season crops around.

Hot season crops

Burpless cucumbers (best for pest avoidance), black beauty zucchini, eggplant and sweet potato slips ready for transplanting when the weather is warm in late April to May.

onions

Yellow, red and bunching onions accompanied by shallots to provide great pest protection and delicious dishes.

Companion plants

Known for their pest-fighting abilities, as well as their beauty, nasturtium, calendula and marigolds are some of the best multi-purpose plants around. Ginger and turmeric are great companions for tomatoes, taking up ground space and providing a lovely harvest on their own.
